Welcome to MetaPeace! If you are visiting this site, you are probably interested in the Internet itself and the issues surrounding the online society.
The online world I have been familiar with since I was a small child. It has always been another reality for me.
As social networking sites and metaverse became more popular in the 2010s, I had great hope for a world where I could exist freely and equally, without being limited by traditional values, race, place of residence, or physical characteristics. (Of course, I still do).
But unfortunately, the same social problems that exist in the physical world also exist in the online world: bullying, discrimination, fraud… The same social problems that exist in the physical world also exist in the online world. What is even more unfortunate is that these actions can be done more easily and anonymously than in the real world, causing many people to choose to take their lives.
We created this website because we feel that just as the physical world has lawyers, mental counselors, and activists, the online world should have beings to fill these roles.
If you want to continue living in the online world, if you have had an unbearable experience, or if you just want to do something about this situation, come to MetaPeace. Together we will find a solution and make the revolution to a new world a “PEACEFUL” one.
