A Channel 4 investigation has found that the virtual reality metaverse raises security risks for young people.
A reporter posed as a 13-year-old girl and woman, aged 22, to access apps VRChat and Rec Room. She was met with a flood of abuse, including the discussion of sex acts with minors.
NSPCC head of child safety said: “You have an online Wild West”.
